Well finally I get to join the crowd and start my travel season! It's about time, I know. I am so excited. I spent the night in Portland with a friend and didn't get any sleep at all because I was thinking about my possible death on this trip but hey let's not be pessimistic. We left for the airport at 4:30 in the morning. Thank you dear friend for driving me! Everything was fine and actually I arrived on perfect time. I didn't have to wait and I still got a bagel before boarding. Go me! Then once the bagel was consumed in my chair I fell asleep for the whole flight! Didn't even wake up for the ginger ale.... Sad... I was honestly surprise how quickly everything happened. I found my bags with ease and the car rental place was right there. I have a nice car. I love it! Then I found my hotel and got to cruise around finding my high schools early cause I had the time. It's all so strange almost like this trip is too easy... Ha! You can't fool me I know things are going to go wrong eventually.
My hotel is a little bit questionable I was worried about the surrounding areas but when you cross the bridge... Oh my... Rich people galore! Where are my Prada shoes and Gucci bag? Dang... I clearly don't fit in here but it is nice. I am chillin like a villain in Starbucks. Ash texted me and she is close by so we are going to have lunch together! Praise the Lord! I am glad I am going to see someone I know on the first day. I was actually sitting in my car with tears on my face when ash texted me. My mom wrote me a letter and hid it in my bag. It's such a wonderful encouraging letter. Thanks mom! Your the best! I am so grateful Ash wants to meet up. This lunch will be needed! Plus it's In and Out soooooo yeah... You know you're jealous.
I hope every thing goes alright with my first visits. I am nervous mostly because I don't want to look like an IDIOT! Although I must admit, I am pretty good at it... Right.... Right? You all have helped me prepare as much as possible and it is time for this bird to fly!
