Last day in Bakersfield! Yay! I finished up with visiting all the schools that are left in this area. I should have checked out of my hotel today and left for Santa Barbara but I accidentally made the wrong reservation. I get to get up at 4 in the morning tomorrow to drive to a morning School visit. Oops.
The schools today were great visits, lots of interested students. I got half way through the call list today as well. Hopefully I can finish that tomorrow but I have a lot of driving ahead of me.
After my visits I drove to Target to buy a CD to make the drive tomorrow a little more Fun. I actually bought the CD FUN. Ha ha ironic? I also got Mumford and Sons. Maybe my drive will go a little easier with better music.
Remember Marjorie? The woman who couldn't for the life of her remember when Corban was coming to visit. The woman who wanted me to visit on Saturday with the students? Yeah she emailed me this morning canceling the visit. I was so sad I would never meet this woman but I was impressed that she did remember me. Next year I hope to meet the famous Marjorie!
How is everyone doing in the office? I miss you all but I will see you next Monday! That is either exciting or daunting for you... I hope you are all doing well! Early bed for me!
