Day 15: Because I Like tacos!

Santa Barbara is BEAUTIFUL! I should have spent my weekend here. I will remember this for next year. And Ventura! They have the cutest downtown ever. It actually reminds me of Oregon which is probably why I liked it so much. I wish I could have stayed here longer. I would have had a shopping day in all the cute bookstores. I didn't stay because I was so anxious to see my family.

I am staying with my aunt and uncle and it's so fun! I have two cousins here both in high school, one is a freshman and the other a junior. They both want to come to the Corban presentation when I visit there school. We have the running joke that when ever someone asks you why, for anything, you always say "cause I like tacos!!!!" I know it's weird but it's family. The boys want to ask "why should we come to Corban?" and they want me to answer with "because I like tacos." oh boy... We will see. It would be kind of funny but I will feel out the crowd first.

I love being here. I had breakfast like a normal person! Usually at Starbucks I stick straws in my ears and shove food up my nose, yelling "elephants are awesome!" it was nice to not have to do that this morning and instead just enjoy a nice bowl of cereal.

I also get to see my two cousins perform in there marching band! Yay! They are really excited about it and so am I. I think I mentioned this in my last blog so I won't keep talking about it.

I get to have Dinner with my friend Kammie tonight! It will be great to see her. German friends unite!

I hope all is going well for you! I get to come home in two days! Got to run to my next school! See ya!

  1. Ha ha! Katie JUST told me about the tacos. So funny...and weird. Definitely weird. Kind of like people who pretend like they're talking animals with food up their noses in public places.

So, the question is...did you embarrass your cousin(s)? Katie said she was hoping you would but also doubted you would. Did you surprise us perhchance? ;)
